Safety & Care
Please read this before you hang it.
It is not a toy
A mobile is made to be looked at, not held. Hang it out of reach and keep it that way — a baby who can grab it is a baby who is too old for it.
When to take it down
Remove the mobile once your baby can push up on hands and knees, or at five months, whichever comes first. This is the standard guidance for all crib mobiles, ours included.
Hanging it
- Well above the mattress, beyond a baby's reach when standing.
- Never with the cord hanging inside the cot.
- Check the knot and the hoop every few weeks — wool moves.
What it's made of
Wool, untreated beechwood, cotton cord. That is the entire list. Nothing is coated, nothing is bonded, and every piece is held together by the fibres themselves.
Caring for wool
- Spot clean only, cool water, no soaking.
- Reshape gently while damp, then air dry away from direct sun.
- Pills can be trimmed with small scissors.
- Wool holds dust lightly — a soft brush is usually enough.
